Done Deal Pro tracks script, book, treatment, and pitch sales and options made in Hollywood. It also provides development-related industry news, interviews, a searchable database of screenwriting contests and contest deadline alerts.

Script Pimp and MovieBytes publish a free email newsletter featuring contest deadlines, screenwriting news, screenplay marketing opportunities, events and more.

Final Draft is software for writing and formatting a screenplay to meet the standards set by the film industry. It also publishes Script Magazine, which contains articles, interviews, features and in-depth coverage of the scriptwriting industry.

We also recommend registering your script with the Writer’s Guild Association and/or the U.S. Copyright office.
